We recently discovered a very interesting new E-Ink product──Fusion. It's a combined hardware and software concept designed to bring active engagement to your electronic to-do list without going back to the realm of pen and paper. Try to add some direct physical engagement while keeping your to-do list entirely in the digital realm.
The concepts are divided into two parts, the first being the simpler, more straightforward half. It's an E-Ink display about the size of a big, wide phone that shows your to-do list. It attaches magnetically to the wall, allowing you to view your to-do list at eye level. E-paper technology means the screen doesn't consume too much power even when it's on, making it more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. What really makes the Fusion stand out, however, are the included dials. The tall, dome-shaped device gives users a way to physically scroll through lists, making actions more memorable and specific. To mark a task as complete, you simply press the top, like a big button, and you're rewarded with a colorful light effect that changes color, pattern, and intensity every time you "tick" an item. Not only does this visual cue serve as a reward, it also becomes a motivation to see what combination you'll get next time. While such a system could easily be implemented with an app or computer software, adding a physical simulation component creates a different and improved experience beyond just clicking virtual boxes.
Can this interesting product be officially launched? There is no specific news yet.
