E-Ink新品:Infinix 在 MWC 2025 展示 E Ink 變色手機,支援 AI 自動調整圖案與顏色

E-Ink new product: Infinix showcases E Ink color-changing phone at MWC 2025, supports AI to automatically adjust patterns and colors

Chinese mobile phone brand Infinix showcased two concept phones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2025) , including a new phone equipped with E Ink color-changing technology and a smartphone that supports solar charging technology , demonstrating the brand's exploration of environmental protection and personalized design.

Infinix's latest E Ink color-changing phone further enhances the functionality of the electronic paper panel on the back. The AI E Ink back panel of this device can not only display static images, but also multi-layer color changes and real-time information display . It also supports personalized patterns and can even link with the phone's built-in AI system to automatically adjust the back display according to the user's activity pattern and environmental changes.

This AI E Ink backplane technology is a significant upgrade over its predecessor, with a faster refresh rate and lower power consumption, allowing it to operate for a long time without the need for additional charging. Compared to traditional e-paper technology, Infinix's new design allows users to change patterns and colors more frequently , and uses AI to make the changes smoother and smarter. For example, when the user enters meeting mode, the back panel of the phone can automatically display a mute reminder or work label; when outdoor exercise is detected, it can display weather, step count or time information, providing additional convenience for the user.

On the other hand, Infinix also launched a solar concept phone with built-in perovskite solar cells on the back of the device, which are lighter, thinner and cheaper than traditional silicon-based solar panels. With Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology , the phone can optimize energy output and control heat to ensure stable operation even in direct sunlight. Currently, the solar panel of this phone can generate up to 2W of electricity , which is mainly used to extend the standby time of the phone rather than completely replace the traditional charging method.

In addition, Infinix has also developed a solar charging mobile phone case that can directly charge the mobile phone through the contact points on the side, providing users with a more flexible charging method. This design is particularly suitable for use in outdoor activities or emergency situations, providing users with additional battery life protection.

Both devices are still in the concept stage and Infinix has not yet announced specific commercialization plans. However, the display at MWC 2025 attracted a lot of attention, showing the brand's long-term development direction for environmentally friendly energy and personalized design .
