E-Ink新品:GGtag──可聲音編程、模擬RFID標籤的電子紙徽章

New E-Ink product: GGtag──Electronic paper badges that can be programmed by voice and simulate RFID tags

GGtag is an innovative e-paper badge, the size of a playing card , which is currently crowdfunding on the Crowd Supply platform. The biggest feature of GGtag is voice programmable, users can program badges by voice. In addition, GGtag also supports in-line USB programming, providing more flexibility.

The core of GGtag is the RP2040 microcontroller, which is equipped with a 3.52-inch electronic paper display with a resolution of 360x240, which can display various patterns and text. GGtag also has a Web Editor interface that simplifies the creation, editing and sharing of tag designs, allowing users to program these designs directly onto badges through the web interface.

GGtag has RFID simulation function, which can simulate 125kHz RFID tags to realize access control and other applications. This functionality is implemented with an ATtiny85 microcontroller and avrfid firmware. When GGtag receives an RFID command, it will generate the corresponding firmware and program it into the microcontroller, thus realizing the RFID simulation function.

GGtag is not only a useful badge, but also a platform for experimentation. All GGtag resources, including reference implementations, hardware specifications, and documentation, are publicly accessible for users to customize applications. Compared with other similar products on the market, GGtag has the advantages of smaller weight, larger display screen, higher resolution and more connection methods.

The production process of GGtag includes the procurement of components such as bare board PCBs from China, which are finally assembled and tested at the Eurolan factory in Bulgaria. Upon completion of the testing and packaging phase, all GGtag units are shipped to Crowd Supply's fulfillment partner, Mouser Electronics, who are responsible for global distribution for global shipments to backers. If you are interested in GGtag, you can go to the Crowd Supply platform to support this project , $45 each, and it is expected to ship in mid-April next year.
