Sol Reader is an innovative E Ink glasses, allowing you to enjoy a more comfortable and convenient reading experience without holding any device while reading. With its lightweight design and long battery life, this is the accessory for the book lover who loves to read.
Sol Reader debuted at the CES exhibition in January this year, attracting attention for its simple appearance and convenient use. It looks like a pair of glasses, weighs only 104 grams, and fits conveniently over your eyes, allowing you to read without any distractions. The Sol Reader features an edge-lit E Ink display, similar to the displays on the Kindle or most other e-readers. The size of each display is 1.3 inches, and the resolution of each eye is 256×256. It is equipped with light metering sensor and warm white LED, which will automatically adjust the brightness required for reading for the user. Available in black, silver, rose gold and dark blue, the device comes with a Bluetooth-connected remote that allows users to select menus and turn pages with the push of a button.

One of the most compelling features of the Sol Reader is its diopter adjustment, which accommodates the needs of people who wear glasses or contact lenses, eliminating the need for additional vision correction. While the extent of the adjustment is not disclosed, it enhances the versatility and usability of the device. With 64MB of storage space, Sol Reader can accommodate a large amount of reading material, making it ideal for immersive reading. With its exclusive SOL mobile app (iOS and Android), users can easily transfer DRM-free e-books, articles and newsletters to the device. A fully charged battery can provide about 25 hours of reading time.
Sol is sending beta glasses to some early testers. The pre-order price of Sol Reader is $350, and the official release date has not yet been announced, but interested consumers can join the waiting list to ensure that they can purchase this product in the future.
